US Box Office Top 10: 25th June 2012

This week, Pixar scores another hit with their lastest animated adventure - Brave. It beats last week's No. 1 from rival company Dreamworks, Madagascar 3.

The other big release of this week was Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. It comes in at a respectable No. 3 with over $16 million made. However, considering the film had a budget of nearly $70 million, and may not appeal to other countries due to it's main character being a President from the 1900s - this could end up being a failure for the studio...

The final new entry this week was the comedy-drama, Seeking a Friend for the End of the World starring Steve Carell and Keira Knightley. It comes in at No. 10 with just under $4 million made.

US Box Office Top 10:

1. (-) Brave - $66.7 million
2. (1) Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted - $20.2 million
3. (-) Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter - $16.5 million
4. (2) Prometheus - $10 million
5. (5) Snow White and the Huntsman - $8.01 million
6. (3) Rock of Ages - $8 million
7. (4) That's My Boy - $7.9 million
8. (7) The Avengers - $7.04 million
9. (6) Men in Black 3 - $5.6 million
10. (-) Seeking a Friend for the End of the World - $3.84 million

That's all this week, here's a trailer for this week's new No. 1, Brave:
